For me, Web 3.0 brings a whole new paradigm in learning, teaching and in education in general. On the other hand, a more elaborate measure is providing technologies that are dynamic in nature. Web 3.0 is one of them, a lot more are coming in the next coming years. Technology is evolving and continuously growing and in the next few years more and more tools for learning and education will come out to giving useful information and instruments to better instructional designs and pedagogies.
Hi Eric. Are you seeing technology driving the learning? So instructional design and pedagogy follow.
In the past, we view pedagogy such as cognitive and constructivism driving the teaching approach and we design strategies to enhance these activities. So picking up what you explained, this means that our approaches in the past may not be very suitable. Why? Because the design strategies before do not include the many interplays of technology with learning and practice. It’s time for instructional designers to look and try more techno-enhanced learning models. What do you think?
